blue skies changing into grey...
sunlight slowly fades away
Dont wanna be here all alone
demons come as darkness falls
scream for help, but all your calls
are falling on a corpes's ear.
cryin in the darkness
taken shelter in the lair of a dragon
Serpents coiled around your feet
Sweetly whisper you to sleep
tears are bleeding from your eyes
Sipping poison from their cup
Drain it once and fill it up
Numb the pain that sears your mind
Hypnotized tho you may be
you know the Prince can set you free
Through the darkness call his name.
The path's still dark but in the trees
Moonlight filters through the leaves
There's a friend beside you now
THe demons still possess the stones
the devil still rattles his bones
but Do not fear your God has come
And soon the sun will light your way
the darkness cannot always stay
The Prince of Peace has won before.
Open your mind you'll be surprised
Its staring straight into your eyes
you are not in this all alone.

What do you do...
...when you pass a cripple on the street begging for money.
...when you hear a small voice sobbing in a dark alley
....when you see a homeless man on a wheelchair digging through the cigarette pit looking for a fresh smoke
...when you hear a desperate scream in an empty lot
...when you find a drunk woman shivering on the street
...when you meet god in the city
what do you do?

Another good day at market.
Last Friday I tipped a street guitarist and we started talking a little about music and I told him that I play too. So today, I was walking past again, and he's like "hey brother you wanna keep the music rollin while i go for some lunch?" wow. that was awsome. So i was there all by myself with a three grand guitar for like fifteen minutes, jamming out on the street. That was special for me. Oh. His name is Chris. He's like a fifty year old colored guy. He's awsome.

Into the Sky, by Jason Upton.
Hey Jesus, are you still on the cross
or are you feeling better?
Hey Jesus, will you come play with me?
Im ready and willing.
Won't you come down, down, down, down to the ground.
To the next to me place
with a smile on my face
and a song in my ear
Around
and around
and around
and around
and around we go
Hey Jesus, when I wave at you
do you wave back too?
Hey Jesus, when I'm feeling sad
do you feel sad too?
Hey Jesus, if we throw these books
do you think they will fly?
Hey Jesus, can I touch the moon
throw me into the sky
And then I'll come down, down, down, down to the ground.
To the next to me place
with a smile on my face
and a song in my ear
Into the sea
Into the sea
Around and around
Around and around

"May God bless you with discomfort at easy answers, half truths, and superficial relationships, so that you may live deep within your heart.
May God bless you with anger at injustice, oppression, and exploitation of people, so that you may work for justice, freedom and peace.
May God bless you with tears to shed for those who suffer from pain, rejection, starvation, and war, so that you may reach out your hand to comfort them and to turn their pain in to joy.
And may God bless you with enough foolishness to believe that you can make a difference in this world, so that you can do what others claim cannot be done."

So i was sick for about a week now I'm all better again... sorta.
My quiz team made the A division. That was a surprise. We kicked butt at Calvary. so that was cool.
I was at the youth gym night tonight.
I like Macdonald's apple pies, the coffee or the coke wasnt so good tho.
I'm tired.

back from quizzing... it was fun. we missed the playoffs by like one point
The trophies are weird this year. #1, there plasitic. Noone likes to work for plastic trophies. #2, there are like american flags and stars and stripes all over the two pillars. Ok folks really now. How can we get any more ironic. That was very funny for me.
So tomorrow and saturday I work in Philly at the Reading Terminal Market. I meet all kinds of cool ppl there. Tis a goodly job.
I should go now and sweep the livingroom floor like mom told me to three hours ago. :D
